Ballet - Ballet is the foundation of all great dancers! This style of dance requires the most focus
and discipline. Beginning classes will  incorporate some creative movement to allow students to
gradually work into ballet structure.

Jazz - Jazz style of dance is what is seen in many Broadway type shows such as “Cats”.  It is a
more structured, stage style of dance.  In contrast, Hip Hop is a fast, high energy type of dance
seen in music videos and commercials.  Dance moves seen in performance by artists such as
Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and J Lo would be typical examples of Hip Hop.

Tap - Tap dance is popular nowadays in many parts of the world. The name comes from the
tapping sound made when the small metal plates on the dancer's shoes touch a hard floor. This
lively, rhythmic tapping makes the performer not just a dancer, but also a percussive musician

Acting / Musical Theatre - Our musical theatre program teaches stage dance and includes a voice
and acting component.  Enhance your artistic ability and become a triple threat performer.

Hip Hop - A class designed to increase the students rhythmic and coordination skills. Students will
focus on learning many fun upbeat combinations, which increases the students’ ability to learn
dance combinations quickly. Ballet and/or jazz technique is not taught in this class.

Lyrical - Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. Lyrical dance challenges
choreographers and dancers to use motion to interpret music and express emotion. A lyrical
dancer's movements attempt to show the meaning of the music. Moreover, the dancer must be
well aware of facial expressions, essentially acting, to properly perform a lyrical dance piece.

Contemporary - Contemporary dance is the name given to a group of 20th century concert dance
forms. It is a collection of systems and methods developed from Modern and Postmodern dance.
Thus contemporary dance is not a specific dance technique. European, Canadian and American
contemporary dance differ from each other in a number of ways.

Tumbling - Our tumbling teaches acrobatic skills such as somersaults, cartwheels, backbends,
hand-stand rolls, etc. Classes will give boys a balance and coordination edge in sport activities,
while girls will love becoming more limber.

Turns & Leaps - Concentrates on the technical aspects of leaping, jumping and turning by
teaching a series of jumps, leaps and turns, weight and direction changes. The student develops
balance, strength, elevation and body alignment.

Pop-Lock  - Pop-Locking is a style of dance that introduces pauses or abrupt freezes in the robot
style dances at certain spots.

Team - Competitive & Performance Company - This top quality activity has no boundaries.
Selection is done strictly through the audition process. These classes are designed for students
who wish to excel to a pre-professional and professional level. Students will perform at community
events and compete in dance competitions on a regional and national level.

Ballroom Dance –for couples or singles.  Beginning level of Waltz, Fox Trot, Swing, Latin, Foxxy,
Meringue, Rumba and more.

Pole Aerobics - Pole dancing is a form of dancing / gymnastics that takes muscular endurance
and coordination as well as sensuality. It involves dancing with a vertical pole where the dancer
may simply hold the pole, or use it to perform more athletic moves such as climbs, spins, and
body inversions. Upper body and core strength are important to proficiency, which takes time to
develop.  Pole Dance is now a recognized form of exercise adopted by women from all over the
world and can be used as both an aerobic and anaerobic workout. It is more than just a sexy
routine danced around a pole.
